About AAAI05blog

AAAI05blog is a student group blog about the the 20th National Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI-05) and the 17th Innovative Applications of Artificial Intelligence Conference (IAAI-05) held 9-13 July 2005 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

The idea is to have a small group of students attending the conference post daily blog items to AAAI05Blog describing their observations, experiencing, reactions, thoughts, etc. Pictures from the conference can be uploaded to our AAAI05 Flickr photo blog. The blog will describe and document the conference from a student's perspective with the ultimate goal of helping AAAI better engage its student members and, hopefully, attract more of them.

Bloggers will be asked to start by briefly introducing themselves, describing why they are going to AAAI and discussing what they hope to get out of it. After the conference is over, we'll ask bloggers to comment on the experience, what they found most stimulating, and how the next AAAI could be changed to improve it for student attendees.

We welcome everyone to participate by adding comments to existing posts.

Thanks to this excellent blog, being a virtual attendee at the 20th AAAI Conference is most gratifying. I have enjoyed commenting on the various posts. If you can figure out the next number in this sequence - 1987 - 1994 - 2001 - then you can predict when the AAAI will come back to Seattle WA USA, where I hope to see all of you. With best wishes, -Arthur (Mentifex)

I'm very happy that AAAI05 has a blog, and a Flickr account!

I'll arrive in Pittsburgh tomorrow, as I wrote on my blog and I'm looking forward for AAAI05 conference!
